Job Description:
JOB SCOPE & PURPOSE
The Senior Analyst within Decision Sciences provides impactful and insightful analysis and business intelligence to Targetbase clients. He/she has subject-matter expertise in one area of analytics and has a desire to expand his/her applications and capabilities in the area of marketing analytics.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivers impactful analyses of assigned projects with high quality, on time, and within estimated hours
Provides business and customer insights based on data analysis and report/trend monitoring
Develops mastery of Targetbase's key analytical competencies and tools
Solves problems by proactively thinking through approaches to the data or analysis based on the objectives of the assignment
Participates as a collaborative team member, holding himself/herself and the team accountable for the work
Puts the client first, anticipating, understanding, and meeting/exceeding client expectations
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Minimum of 3 years (post graduate) of applied analytics experience
Experience in some or all of the following areas of marketing analysis: segmentation, predictive analytics, digital analytics, measurement, business intelligence, and/or market research
Bachelor's Degree is required
KNOWLEDGE & ABILITY
Intermediate-level knowledge of analysis techniques
Proficient with SQL, Python, R or other data mining tools
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Effective communication skills
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Overtime may be necessary
Some travel may be required
***We are a hybrid company working 3 days a week in office and 2 days a week at home. Candidates must live in the Irving, TX area and willing to be in office on required days.
Local candidates only, not considering relocation for this position
Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
