PROJECT:

Parsons is managing a Technical Services (TS) program for an agency within the Department of Defense to review third party A/E work; conduct studies, analysis, testing and measuring; perform specialized engineering services, planning and design reviews; commissioning services; construction oversight on worldwide delivery orders, and information technology (IT) support. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating and maintaining new technical solutions
  • Enhancing existing applications by integrating new technology components and capabilities
  • Assisting the customer in understanding and evaluating new technologies with respect to their current and future needs

This is a unique opportunity to exercise a great degree of freedom and creativity in providing new capabilities and solutions to a customer that is transitioning to the next phase of their technical roadmap.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience as a DBA/DBE performing database administration, engineering, or design in support of system engineering, software development, or related activities
  • Experience with any of the following technologies and applications:
    • MS SQL Server
    • PostgreSQL
    • MySQL
    • Oracle DB
    • AWS Aurora, RDS
    • ArcGIS
    • RESTful web services
  • Experience with any of the following a plus:
    • Java/Javascript
    • HTML/CSS
    • SharePoint
    • Powershell
    • Power BI
    • Tableau
    • Docker
    • Atlassian suite (Jira, etc.)
    • Cloud-based platforms
  • Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments a strong plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in system engineering field or equivalent technical/scientific discipline from an accredited institution
  • 10+ years of related professional experience
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph clearance required.
  • Must be able to work in a flexible/fluid environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communicate skills.
  • Ability to facilitate/lead IT projects and teams.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
