PCSR2021 Database Administrator, Plainsboro, NJ and other client locations: Involve in migrating and managing oracle databases on AWS cloud RDS and EC2 services. Migrate Oracle databases from on-premises to Amazon RDS and EC2 using expdp and RMAN backups.
Implement the Golden Gate Unidirectional and bidirectional replication for reporting database. Define and implement HA/DR solutions using Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RAC for the Company's mission critical applications to maintain business continuity.
Manage large number of OLAP and OLTP database servers.
Perform RAC Installation and patching.
Work on single node and multiple nodes in the RAC.
Involve in Backup and recovery concepts in RMAN using full backup, incremental and cumulative backups.
Duties entail working with SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, Oracle 12c/11g/10g/, SQL Server, MySQL, TCP/IP Netware, Oracle Data Guard, Failsafe, RAC, ASM, Windows 12c Cloud Control, OEM, Developer, Quest tools, Oracle Portal, Oracle Golden Gate, Data guard, EMC Avamar, NetBackup, RMAN, TSM, putty, WinSCP, psftp, vnc, and Footprint SM9 .
MS (BS + 5 yrs of exp) in Comp Sci, MIS, CIS, Engineering (any),or related with two years' experience.
Travel required for other client locations within the U.S.
