Database Administrator, Metrotown, British Columbia

When you join our team as a Database Administrator, you will be supporting our Data Management strategy and central to ensuringour database systems meet the demands of our business operations across NorthAmerica. A skilled Database Administrator (DBA) that will further our securityposture and will keep our databases, both on-premises and in Azure, updated, ourdata protected and secure. Advancing key strategic business initiatives and workingwith teams across the company, meeting milestones, managing data migrations,troubleshooting issues, and keeping systems of record optimized for highperformance. You are detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to make a realimpact on our database infrastructure and maturing our DBA practices.

What You'll Do
  • Manageand Optimize Databases: Oversee the setup,maintenance, and tuning of our databases.
  • BoostPerformance: Ensure databases run efficiently witheffective tuning and monitoring.
  • ProtectOur Data: Establish backups, disaster recovery plans,and high-security measures.
  • Upgradeand Migrate: Carry out database migrations, updates,and upgrades across all environments.
  • AutomateWhere Possible: Set up automated processes for routinetasks like monitoring and backups.

What We Offer

Interfor has posted the following expected salary range that the companybelieves in good faith could be offered to successful candidates. The salaryoffered is benchmarked to current market conditions and will also be based onnumerous factors which can include work experience, skills, credentials,education, and other relevant factors. In addition to a competitive salary, youwill receive a competitive benefits package and be able to participate in ourShort-Term Incentive Bonus plan, with the payout amount subject to individualand corporate performance. Expected range: $90,000 - $115,000
