As part of the team, you'll be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of Oracle database systems running on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Install, configure, maintain, and secure Oracle database systems on AWS aligning with best scalability and performance practices while also leveraging CloudWatch for
- real-time insights and proactive problem resolution.
- Provide production operations support including incident resolution, change management, service request management, and on-call rotations.
- Experience with Modern Database management with code based migrations with tools like liquibase or flyway.
- Familiarity with linux, bash, git are mandatory.
- Experience with multi account IAM polices, KMS and RDS snapshots and recovery
- Proficient in terraform and Cloud Formation.
- Driven to produce high quality IAC to eliminate hand configurations.
- Experience converting Oracle to Postgres, or NoSQL.
- Able to help teams in decommissioning stored procedures.
- Perform database administration tasks, including installations, configurations, upgrades, and patching.
- Conduct performance tuning of databases and queries, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies, including configured disaster
- recovery databases using Data Guard and replicated databases using Golden Gate.
- Design, develop, and implement databases in AWS cloud environments, aligning with best scalability and performance practices.
- Familiar with Oracle Table Partitioning Strategies and optimizations.
- Golden Gate Replication experience.
- Multi Region Configuration on RDS with Golden Gate preferred.
- Utilize AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) for migrating Oracle databases.
- Work with S3 buckets and CloudTrail to monitor logs and backups.
- Creation and Maintenance of CDC and Validation jobs

Qualifications:- 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator having hands-on experience in Installation, Administration and trouble shooting of Oracle.
- Focus on Using oracle in AWS RDS.
