Full Job Description
Data Scientist (Tubi, Inc.; San Francisco, California): Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches. Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and the presentation of data to develop strategies for our products. Create and manage dashboards and visualizations, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders and enabling data-informed decision-making. Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform, influence, support, and execute strategy and investment decisions. Ensure statistical rigor, metric alignment, transparency, and effectiveness in Tubi's decision-making processes. Design, evaluate, and refine experimentation frameworks, including pre-test planning, in-flight monitoring, and post-experiment analysis. Define, understand, and test opportunities and levers to improve the product, and drive roadmaps through your insights and recommendations. Join forces with Data Engineering to ensure the availability and integrity of data required for analytics, ML ops for deployment, and opportunities for automation. Salary: $174,000 - 191,400 per year Education Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field. Experience Requirements: Three (3) years of experience in the position offered or related occupation. Must have experience with the following: analytics and SQL, Python, and Spark; A/B testing, experimental design, and causal inference in a technology-driven environment; extracting insights from large datasets using statistical methods; product analytics and working with event-level data; and video streaming industry.
