  • Operates with a high degree of autonomy in solving ambiguous, open-ended product and marketplace problems with significant business impact.
  • Directly influences revenue and marketplace outcomes through data-driven recommendations impacting buyer and seller behavior at scale.
  • This role is not focused on routine reporting or operational KPI tracking, but on forward-looking, experimental and predictive analysis to shape product direction.
  • Leads design, execution, and interpretation of A/B tests and quasi-experimental methods to establish causal impact of product changes.
  • Partners with and influences senior Product, Engineering, and Business leaders on roadmap trade-offs and investment decisions.
  • Drives thought leadership in analytics by introducing new methodologies, tools, or modeling approaches that advance product understanding.

Your work will be pivotal in improving the end-to-end buyer experience across the buyer lifecycle, strengthening buyer & seller relationships, and enabling eBay's broader C2C ambitions. We are looking for a leader who combines strong technical depth with strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to navigate and optimize a complex, global marketplace.
