The Opportunity

As a Data Governance & Data Engineer Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding sensitive data and systems from cyber threats through risk assessments, security audits, and implementing robust security measures. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will focus on protecting organizations from cyber threats using advanced technologies and strategies, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing secure systems to safeguard sensitive data.

As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same.

In this role at PwC, you will analyze and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system, taking ownership of projects to validate their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.

Responsibilities

- Leading cybersecurity initiatives to protect sensitive data and systems from potential threats
- Conducting risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement robust security measures
- Developing and managing data governance frameworks to enhance data privacy and security compliance
- Utilizing Azure Data Factory and other tools to streamline data architecture development and data flow mapping
- Collaborating with team leadership to validate quality, timelines, and deliverables for client engagements
- Mentoring team members to develop skills and encourage growth in cybersecurity and data governance
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in critical conversations with clients and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Innovating and embracing change to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored cybersecurity solutions

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Project/Technology Management, Science
- Demonstrating proficiency in Azure Data Factory and Data Architecture Development

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
