You will take up a range of roles in the areas of process consulting, experience design, business analysis, applied AI, tech strategy, program and change management. You will analyze problems and come up with solutions, often creative and out-of-the-box, apply business consulting frameworks and methodologies to address business problems, collaborate with client stakeholders and be responsible for the delivery of business results to clients.
Infosys Consulting's Financial Services Practice is seeking experienced Product owner with capital market Industry experience to be hired at a Principal Level.
As a Principal Consultant, you will assist in the leadership and delivery of engagements. You will build on your experience designing and executing transformation programs. You will collaborate and interface with client stakeholders daily. You will also be involved in branding, thought leadership, and knowledge management efforts to provide value-adding consulting services that enable our clients to meet the global landscape's changing needs. You will anchor sales proposal preparation and engagement delivery efforts.
Responsibilities- Capital markets expert to lead review of the data domain hierarchy and drive proposed refinements, including normalization of naming variants and resolution of overlapping categories.
- Assign each feature/dataset to a single accountable domain and record the consuming processes and domains for each.
- Assign domain ownership and boundaries
- Work closely with business and technology stakeholders for resolution of items with conflicting ownership.
- Review of the data contracts between producing and consuming domains, and drive sign-off from both sides.
- Conduct workshops, participate in sprint cycles, define backlog, create data mapping, data transformation requirements, create requirement specification, stakeholder coordination for data product issue resolution, data validation
Basic/Mandatory Qualification- BS / BA in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting.
- Candidate must have 7-9+ years of experience working with capital markets firms (overall 10+ yrs of experience)
- Candidate must have 7-9 years of experience working with capital markets related data flows e.g. any of domains such as Holdings, Transactions, Reference data (security, pricing, accounts), trades data, GL mapping & journal, Sub Ledger, P&L, P&L attribution, credit and Market risk, sec lending, cash balance, cash projections etc.
- Candidate must have experience defining or refining domain/data hierarchy and resolving data domain ownership conflicts across business functions
- Candidates must have ability to query and analyze data sets using SQL
- Candidate must have excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills, including presenting and defending contested decisions to senior business partners; independent thinker and doer with strong domain skills
- Candidates must have strong analytical, troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of Jira & Confluence
- Familiarity with AI tools for vibe coding ( lovable etc.)

Additional Skills (not mandatory)- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and domain-driven data ownership models
