Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience mapping unstandardized clinical data feeds into cloud-hosted databases.
• 8+ years in data engineering or architecture focusing on AWS and metadata management.
• Proven ability to translate healthcare source data into governed data models.
• Ability to work within the U.S. and support on-site needs in Jefferson City as required.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the data architecture for the enterprise lakehouse, ensuring auditability.
• Design ingestion pipelines for diverse healthcare data using AWS services.
• Map clinical feeds into governed data structures with FHIR-aligned models.
• Establish data governance controls including quality and exception management.
• Implement metadata management and data traceability from source to reports and APIs.
• Coordinate integration with the FHIR platform and analytics for Medicaid reporting.
• Produce detailed architectural documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Collaborate across multiple teams in a multi-vendor Medicaid environment.
