Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or data analysis with 3+ years specifically in data governance.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, and data classification.
• Experience in gathering and documenting both business and technical requirements.
• Familiarity with data platforms, data warehouses, and modern data ecosystems.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex governance requirements into practical solutions.
• Experience with HR data is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and operationalization of enterprise data governance capabilities.
• Assist with deploying and maintaining the Databricks Governed Catalog and related tooling.
• Promote adherence to data governance policies and best practices across platforms.
• Identify and classify sensitive data elements within datasets.
• Elicit and document business, functional, and governance requirements.
• Translate business policies and compliance obligations into actionable requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define governance processes and control requirements.
