Full Job Description
The Data Governance Analyst supports enterprise data governance through hands-on work involving metadata, lineage, data quality, data ownership, and stewardship. The role works with both data and business stakeholders to help improve the reliability and consistency of governed data and reporting, with additional ramp-up and guidance expected compared with the Senior and Lead levels.

What you will do:
  • Support enterprise data governance processes and standards.
  • Help maintain metadata and lineage for governed data.
  • Work directly with data to understand its meaning and identify potential anomalies.
  • Support data quality activities and governance issue tracking.
  • Work with data owners and data stewards to support ownership and stewardship processes.
  • Help business teams understand the purpose and importance of data governance and data quality.
  • Participate in governance meetings and working groups.
  • Contribute to efforts to improve and mature the data governance program.

What you will bring:
  • 2-4 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related work.
  • SQL knowledge and the ability to work with data.
  • Experience with data governance concepts and processes.
  • Experience or knowledge involving metadata, lineage, and data quality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and explain the meaning and importance of governed data.

Base Salary Range
$79,400.00 - $112,175.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

You must have reliable connectivity from an internet service provider that is fiber, cable or DSL internet. Other necessary computer equipment, will be provided.
