Position Description: CGI is seeking a Data Quality Engineer who is passionate about ensuring the quality of enterprise data platforms and building scalable test automation solutions. Join our engineering team and help deliver high-quality, data-driven applications.
This a Full-Time, On-Site employment opportunity based in either the Dallas, TX area; Merrimack, NH; or Jersey City, NJ.
Your future duties and responsibilities: . Design and implement test strategies for enterprise applications and data platforms
. Validate ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, APIs, and BI reports
. Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright, RestAssured, Karate, Cucumber, and TestNG
. Perform database validation using Oracle, PostgreSQL, or DB2 with advanced SQL/PL/SQL
. Develop automation solutions using Python
. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and SonarQube
. Collaborate with cross functional Agile teams to deliver high quality software
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 6+ years of Quality Engineering or Software Testing experience
. Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and API testing
. Experience testing distributed enterprise applications and data platforms
. Hands on experience with ETL/ELT validation and BI reporting
. Strong automation and CI/CD experience
. Agile/Scrum experience using Jira
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Preferred skills:

. Performance testing and modern data engineering technologies

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,200.00 $153,300.00.
