Full Job Description
The Role

We are seeking a Data Engineer to play a key role in building and optimizing the data infrastructure that powers FMH's platform and analytics capabilities. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and architecture that enable actionable insights across the organization.

This role works closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and secure, while supporting both internal and client-facing use cases. As you grow in the role, you will take on increasingly complex data challenges and contribute to architectural decisions.

What You'll Do:

  • Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and data architecture to support analytics and application development
  • Design scalable data solutions that improve accessibility, reliability, and performance of data systems
  • Develop analytics tools and datasets that enable actionable insights for internal teams and business development efforts
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve data delivery and workflows
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver iterative solutions
  • Ensure the security, privacy, and integrity of sensitive healthcare data in collaboration with cloud and security teams
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of data-related technical issues across teams

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing data and data solutions
  • Healthcare Technology Experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar preferred
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets
  • Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and scalable data stores.
  • Experience with the following tool/databases/technologies:
    • Azure, Azure SQL, ADLS
    • SQL, Python, Scala
    • Databricks/Delta Lake, dbt/dbt Cloud
  • Ability to work within a team, communicating and documenting effectively
