Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in Big Data technologies and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with GCP services, ETL/ELT development, data warehousing, and banking or financial services data, including mortgage and lending platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform technologies.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for enterprise data integration.
• Build and maintain data models to support analytics and business reporting.
• Monitor data pipeline performance and implement observability using GCP-native or third-party monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integration and analytics initiatives.
• Optimize data processing, storage, and query performance.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Support banking and financial services data initiatives, including mortgage and lending data processing.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
• Experience with performance monitoring and pipeline observability using GCP-native tools or third-party solutions.
• Strong SQL and data modeling expertise.
• Experience with Python, PySpark, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development.
• Expertise in data warehousing concepts and database technologies.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or Synapse.
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or Informatica.
• Strong understanding of banking and financial services data.
• Experience working with Mortgage, Loan Servicing, Loan Origination Systems (LOS), or lending platforms.
• Knowledge of the mortgage loan lifecycle.
• Understanding of loan origination and loan servicing processes.
• Knowledge of mortgage underwriting and credit risk concepts.
• Experience handling mortgage-related datasets.
• Understanding of regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.
