JOB DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design datasets and data products intended to drive value. Evaluate user interaction correlation with how the business uses data and suggest improvements. Develop improvement plans for backlog of dataset design and development. Operate curated strategic datasets as products, continuously focusing on the consumers of the data and their business needs. Define the features and capabilities of future data products. Define quantitative and qualitative product success criteria. Incorporate business needs into data storytelling. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data pipelines for production use across analytic environments. Maintain and refine product backlog through agile ceremonies and events. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify design approach throughout product development. Verify the delivered features meet the business requirements through validation and user testing. Develop documentation required for quality assurance of data for use in controlled use cases.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Data Analytics Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Information Management or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Data Domain Architect, Data Analyst, Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: Coding using SQL and Python, including scalability and performance in diverse environments including AWS, Snowflake, and Teradata; Creating customer data models, including various types of models and layers, to support data storage solutions and ensure data integrity and accessibility; Performing data modernization by linking data concepts to data products using common vocabularies, ensuring integration and interoperability across various data sources; Using Align and Jira to guide product-related processes and translate customer needs into market-ready solutions; Extracting customer data by conducting and analyzing feedback from interviews, surveys, and focus groups to uncover pain points and opportunities for improvements.
