Job SummaryWe are seeking a Data Conversion Systems Analyst to support data conversion initiatives by enhancing conversion processes in collaboration with internal IT teams and external business partners. This role involves analyzing inbound data, developing technical conversion specifications, and ensuring accurate data mapping to internal systems. The ideal candidate will work across multiple projects, support developers, and contribute to delivering high-quality data conversion solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze inbound data records and develop technical conversion specifications to map external data to internal systems
- Support and enhance data conversion processes in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a liaison between onshore and offshore development teams during conversion activities
- Contribute to conversion strategy documentation by providing technical insights aligned with business requirements
- Provide support and guidance on data creation, validation, and loading processes
- Ensure accuracy and quality of data throughout the conversion lifecycle
- Work on multiple projects concurrently and support timely and efficient project delivery
- Collaborate with business teams, systems analysts, and developers to ensure successful data conversion outcomes
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in data conversion or systems analysis, including analysis, design, and problem resolution
- Strong understanding of data conversion implementation processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access
- Experience with data transmission protocols such as SFTP or TSO
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative environments
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience in financial services, banking, retirement funds, or related domains
- Understanding of investment industry concepts
- Experience working with retirement plans such as 401(k), defined contribution, or similar systems
