Job DescriptionA Data 360 Senior Consultant plays a hands-on delivery role, building and configuring the data architectures that unify customer data and power activation across the Salesforce ecosystem.
ResponsibilitiesQualifications- Configure, build, and test Data 360 components, including data streams, transforms, identity resolution rulesets, calculated insights, segments, and activations, against an approved solution design.
- Execute data mapping and ingestion plans, validating field-level mappings against the Customer 360 Data Model and catching discrepancies before they reach production.
- Build and troubleshoot batch and streaming transforms, resolving data quality issues and ingestion errors to keep environments clean and reliable.
- Configure activations to downstream systems such as Agentforce, Marketing Cloud, CRM objects, and Tableau to meet defined specifications.
- Support UAT, document configuration decisions, and provide go-live and hypercare support to keep implementations stable after launch.
- Bring technical questions, edge cases, and open items forward promptly, contributing informed observations from the build.
- Partner closely with the project team to keep builds aligned to specifications and timelines, communicating progress and blockers clearly.
- Deepen technical fluency across Data 360, Agentforce, Marketing Cloud Next and the broader Salesforce ecosystem, growing toward greater ownership over time.
- Provide hands-on guidance to junior consultants during build and testing.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, author clear technical and functional documentation, and translate business needs into actionable work items and user stories.
- Apply a strong business analyst foundation to deeply understand client business objectives, identify process enhancements or optimization opportunities, and ensure solution architecture directly solves core business challenges.
QualificationsQualifications- Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience with Salesforce, including hands-on Data 360 (Data Cloud) build experience across data streams, transforms, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation, and activation.
- Proficient in SQL for writing and troubleshooting transforms and calculated insights.
- Working knowledge of SOQL and the core Salesforce data model (Sales Cloud / Service Cloud objects).
- Experience executing data mapping against a defined target data model.
- Comfortable following documented technical specifications with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with Apex and/or JavaScript for custom logic, troubleshooting, and validating build feasibility is a plus.
- Exposure to Lightning Web Components for building Data 360-driven visualizations is a plus.
- Familiarity with Marketing Cloud or Tableau for activation and downstream reporting.
- Experience working directly with Data 360 APIs is a plus.
- Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360 certification(s) required.
- Comfortable coordinating with other development streams (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) to keep Data 360 builds aligned with related work in flight.
- Proficient in authoring and presenting clear technical documentation.
- Ability to elicit information and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working on multiple concurrent projects.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Flexible to new situations and challenges.
- Bachelor's Degree or commensurate skills.
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,00. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
