You're an experienced data center engineer who can lead complex builds, migrations, and lifecycle programs across compute, storage, and network domains. You blend deep technical skill with operational rigor, mentor others, and standardize processes. You thrive in high-security environments, drive RCA for major incidents, and design for resilience, observability, and cost.
The Work:
- Lead design and delivery of private cloud footprints (Google Distributed Cloud, Azure Stack, Nutanix, Outposts, Anthos) and virtualization estates.
- Engineer storage platforms (block/file/object) and data protection strategies; validate DR across RTO/RPO targets.
- Own capacity planning, performance baselining, and SLOs; implement monitoring/alerting dashboards.
- Establish secure hardware handling (chain of custody) and site readiness standards; coordinate vendor support and RMAs.
- Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform/Ansible; integrate with CMDB and GitOps workflows.
- Harden OS and platform configurations per ITSG-33; implement logging, MFA, key management, and secrets handling.
- Lead P1 incident command, post-incident reviews, and corrective actions; develop resilience and failover patterns.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, diagrams, and asset inventories; mentor junior engineers and uplift team capability.
- Collaborate with Network, Security, and Cloud teams to land scalable, cost-optimized solutions; support FinOps.
- Plan and coordinate change windows; ensure audit compliance and evidence capture for regulated clients.
Ability to work shifts/on-call; comfort working on-site in high-security environments.
Travel may be required based on client demand. Accenture promotes a client-centric, flexible work environment.

- Advanced Linux/virtualization expertise and strong troubleshooting across compute/storage/network.
- Automation with Terraform/Ansible and scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash).
- Proven incident management, DR/BCP execution, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a related field.
- Eligibility for Reliability Clearance.
Bonus Points If You Have- Eligible for Top Secret Security Clearance or currently holds Top Secret Security Clearance status.
- Hybrid Kubernetes operations experience.
- Vendor certifications across cloud/server/storage/virtualization.
- Bilingual (English/French).

British Columbia/Ontario/New Brunswick $74,000 to $124,000
