Minimum qualifications: - Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience with mechanical maintenance, mechanical infrastructure systems, mechanical testing, mechanical contractors, chillers, electric motors, pump systems, cooling systems, water chemistry, and HVAC.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or operations within data centers, hospitals, power plants, or high-voltage (HV) electrical substations.
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.
Preferred qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of the building management controls systems.
- Knowledge of Protection Relay Network systems
- Ability to communicate with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work. Ability to learn and address issues as they arise.

Responsibilities - Act as a data center technical lead, monitoring plant efficiency (e.g., Power Usage Effectiveness/Water Usage Effectiveness - PUE/WUE), and working with technicians, leads, and managers.
- Provide an approach to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), operations, and maintenance programs.
- Act as a resource and mentor for Facilities Technicians (FTs) to drive improvements and feedback.
- Navigate organizational change processes and provide site-level feedback, ensuring appropriate SMEs are included, coordinating with FTs and managers to execute approved decisions, and properly close out technical bugs.
- Provide input and direction in the data center commissioning processes and procedures, including retesting requirements following replacement or major repairs.
