Redan LLC is seeking a highly experienced
Data Architect to be part of a growing team in the federal sector.
The ideal candidate would serve as the enterprise authority for data architecture, governance, metadata management, and Microsoft Fabric/Purview solutions ensuring that organizational data is secure, well-governed, high quality, and readily available for analytics and business decision-making.
Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be adaptive to the organization's changing needs. This candidate must have experience with building and maintaining highly effective relationships with team members and multiple stakeholders across multiple projects.
What You'll Be Doing As the Data Architect at Redan, you will:- Reviewing enterprise data models
- Defining data governance policies
- Configuring Microsoft Purview scans and lineage
- Designing Fabric Lakehouse architecture
- Meeting with business stakeholders
- Reviewing Azure security and RBAC assignments
- Solving data quality issues
- Creating architecture documentation
- Guiding development teams on integration standards
- Supporting Power BI and analytics initiatives
Profile of SuccessRequired:
- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Data Management.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Business Glossary, Data Classification, and Data Lineage).
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.
- Experience designing enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Critical Data Elements (CDEs), and Data Quality frameworks.
- Experience integrating enterprise data sources including Oracle, GIS, REST APIs, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and Azure security services.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with enterprise data integration, ETL/ELT, and cloud data platforms.
- Experience working with Azure services including Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and enterprise governance solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, documentation, and architecture design skills.
- Utility, Government, or Public Sector experience preferred.
