This team is at the forefront of maximizing data to provide unparalleled insights into sales performance, operational efficiency, and market visibility. You will collaborate with dedicated engineers who are passionate about transforming data into actionable intelligence.

Your Impact

As a Data Architect, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and managing robust and scalable data architectures for Cisco's critical sales applications, including My Business Reports (MBR), One Sales BO (OSBO), and Visibility data products. Your expertise will ensure the integrity, accessibility, and optimal performance of sales data, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven data architectures and strategies for sales applications.
  • Develop and optimize data models and pipelines to support AI/ML and business intelligence tools across sales data environments.
  • Establish robust data quality frameworks and champion governance initiatives to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Analyze and optimize database and data platform performance, addressing bottlenecks and recommending improvements.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to integrate AI-generated insights and techniques into sales operations.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to translate needs into effective data solutions and provide technical leadership.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing.
  • Experience designing and implementing ETL processes using tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar.
  • Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with SQL and various database technologies, such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting data solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI for large language model (LLM) workflows, text analytics, or vector functions.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects).
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and data quality management frameworks.
  • Experience working with sales data, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and related sales operations processes.
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
