This role sits within our Products & Solutions team, part of the broader Data & Analytics (D&A) practice, and focuses on building innovative, commercially deployable offerings that complement our strategic advisory work.

This individual will play a key role in shaping and delivering AI-powered solutions-ranging from bespoke tools designed for specific client use cases to scalable platforms that support broader enterprise AI transformation.

You will work at the intersection of strategy, data science, and technology, helping bring AI concepts into real-world applications for clients. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with a clear path toward product management and leadership over time.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Product Strategy & Development
  • Support the end-to-end development of AI-enabled products and solutions from ideation through deployment and iteration by managing the product backlog, running sprint ceremonies, and holding the team accountable to timelines and milestones
  • Translate business problems into AI-driven product concepts, features, and workflows and defining product requirements and scope
  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and AI/ML engineers to build and refine models, tools, and applications (e.g., Agentic AI, predictive analytics, automation tools)
  • Champion adoption of AI products internally, helping consulting teams understand when and how to deploy them effectively

Client Engagement Execution & Deployment
  • Serve as the interface between the Products & Solutions team, consulting partners, and clients-ensuring alignment on product fit and delivery expectations
  • Directly support analytics execution to solve tough data and analytical challenges in client engagements pertaining to our Products & Solutions, including running the analytical components and/or product deployment within a project
  • Partner with consulting teams to scope, deployment, and integration of AI solutions in consulting engagements and deliverables
  • Assist in identifying and translating technical requirements, outputs, and limitations / risks into clear, actionable insights for clients and contribute to client proposals, presentations, and workshops

AI Use Case Identification & Solution Design
  • Contribute to evolving AI product roadmap by collaborating with consulting teams and sector experts to identify high-value AI use cases across industries
  • Help design scalable, repeatable AI solutions that can be deployed across clients
  • Support both bespoke (client-specific) and reusable product development and execution efforts
  • Help build the business case for AI product adoption through compelling storytelling and clear articulation of ROI tied to client needs / business outcomes

Stakeholder Collaboration & Go-to-Market Enablement
  • Work cross-functionally with data science / engineering, consulting, marketing, and knowledge teams-serving as a connector between technical / non-technical stakeholders
  • Support business development and sales enablement, including proposal development, product demos and thought leadership efforts
  • Promote adoption of AI products and solutions across consulting teams through developing internal enablement materials, playbooks, and best practices
  • Help to capture insights from client engagements to inform the future product roadmap (e.g., pain points)

AI Capability Building & Innovation
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging AI trends (e.g., Agentic AI, automation, ML) and identify innovations to shape L.E.K.'s product strategy
  • Monitor the competitive landscape for AI products and platforms relevant to L.E.K.'s sectors, identifying differentiation opportunities
  • Proactively identify new use cases and whitespace opportunities where AI can deliver outsized value for clients or improve internal firm capabilities

Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or similar
  • 1-4 years of experience in analytics, product management, consulting, or a related field
  • Exposure to AI/ML or data-driven products, ideally including Agentic AI or advanced analytics use cases, and a genuine enthusiasm for the evolving AI space
  • Experience working with or building data and analytics products; understanding of the product development lifecycle from ideation to deployment
  • Hands-on experience with agile delivery such as managing backlogs, running sprints, and using project tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) with a track record of holding teams to commitments without becoming a bottleneck
  • Familiarity with data/analytics tools such as Python, SQL, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and scalable solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Azure ML)
  • Familiarity with AI product tooling across the development lifecycle such as prompt engineering, RAG architectures, LLM evaluation frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Ragas), and at least one major cloud AI platform (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, Vertex AI)
