About the Role:

Reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, the Data Analytics Architect will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise analytics solutions that support sales, marketing, pricing, procurement, inventory management, and business performance initiatives. The successful candidate will leverage advanced data engineering, business intelligence, and analytics capabilities to deliver actionable insights, improve decision-making, optimize profitability, and support supply chain performance. This role requires strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, data modeling, and business analytics within a fast-paced environment.

The successful applicant will:

  • Architect and develop scalable analytics solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure technologies.
  • Design and implement secure data extraction and integration processes from Dynamics 365 Business Central and other business systems.
  • Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse environments, data pipelines, and data models using PySpark and SQL.
  • Develop advanced business logic and calculations related to pricing, margin analysis, inventory costing, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Analyze sales, purchasing, supplier performance, inventory, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design, develop, and automate Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards that provide actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Monitor and report on key business metrics including profitability, supplier performance, inventory turns, spend analysis, forecast accuracy, and sales performance.
  • Support global sourcing and procurement activities through supplier analytics, spend analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Develop user-friendly analytics tools and applications that support pricing decisions, business planning, and operational reporting.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and performance across all reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective analytical solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through automation, reporting enhancements, and data-driven recommendations.


We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, procurement analytics, or a related role.
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Azure data services.
  • Proficiency in Python (PySpark) and advanced data transformation and modeling techniques.
  • Experience designing and implementing data pipelines, lakehouse architectures, and enterprise reporting solutions.
  • Hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards, KPI reporting, and business performance analytics.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of pricing analysis, inventory management, procurement, supplier performance, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and Power Query.
  • Experience with React.js, Node.js, and Power BI Embedded is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
