Job Summary:

The Data and Analytics Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions that support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics needs. This role works closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to transform data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and visualization tools.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Data Solution Development
  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines, data models, and reporting solutions.
  • Build and optimize ETL processes for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Develop, test, and maintain analytics dashboards and visualizations.

Data Integration & Management
  • Integrate data from multiple sources (structured and unstructured) into unified datasets.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across platforms.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and architects to implement data warehousing strategies.

Business Intelligence & Reporting
  • Partner with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and self-service BI (business intelligence) tools to empower business users.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of analytics solutions.

Quality Assurance & Documentation
  • Ensure data quality through validation and testing processes.
  • Document data sources, data definitions, technical processes, and data lineage.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Stay up to date with emerging tools and technologies in data analytics and visualization.
  • Recommend process improvements and best practices in data handling and reporting.


Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field or relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in data development, BI, or analytics roles.
  • Proficient in SQL and one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
  • Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory) and data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Hands-on experience with BI and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Working knowledge with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and modern data architectures.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
  • Understanding machine learning concepts and statistical modeling is a plus.
  • Data modeling and transformation.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job the employee will work in a climate-controlled office environment. May occasionally meet in the manufacturing facility and be exposed to:

$111,348.00 - $167,023.00
