Data Analytics Analyst- Equity Sales with strong prompting Skill with AI and high aptitude with Excel. Applicants should be able to work in a fast-paced, growing dynamic environment, where they will develop a strong understanding of finance, client relationship management, and data-driven sales practices. The successful candidate will have the ability to independently organize, analyze, and execute data projects. Prior experience with Excel and PowerPoint is required, including the ability to build dashboards, chart trends, and use pivot tables. Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is not required but useful. The candidate will be intimately involved in the preparation, planning and strategy around client negotiations for payment.
The
Data Analytics Analyst will work directly with the Global Head of Sales and other senior managers, supporting core strategic initiatives through data analysis, CRM management using Salesforce, and business development insights. Within this role, the associate will frequently be entrusted with sensitive information, requiring a high degree of confidentiality. The associate will play a central role in maintaining data integrity across the firm's client and sales platforms.
Responsibilities:- Own and manage the firm's Salesforce CRM - maintaining accurate client records, tracking engagement activity, building reports, and ensuring data integrity across accounts and contacts
- Design and maintain Salesforce dashboards and reports to surface client trends, pipeline activity, and business development metrics for senior leadership
- Analyze CRM and internal database data to identify patterns in client behavior, coverage gaps, and revenue opportunities
- Readiness to propose standards for efficient token usage and data cleaning practices across the Sales desk
- Capacity for succinct quantitative and entrepreneurial storytelling: presenting technical deliverables to nontechnical audiences, augmenting business model canvases through market research, and strengthening long-term client relationships with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain Excel-based financial models, revenue forecasts, and sales performance trackers using pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros
- Translate data findings into clear, concise summaries and presentations for the Global Head of Sales and senior managers
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve CRM adoption, data hygiene, and reporting workflows
- Maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive client and firm information
- Participate in ad hoc projects to improve the operations and data capabilities of the greater sales team
- Leverage AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent) to streamline research, summarize client data, draft communications, and improve overall workflow efficiency
- Identify opportunities to incorporate AI-assisted analysis into recurring reporting and sales operations tasks
Requirements:- 2026 Grad or 1-4 years experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field - such as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Engineering - from an accredited college/university with a strong academic track record (minimum 3.5 GPA)
- Proficiency in Python and/or R
- Proficiency in prompt engineering and agentic coding systems like Claude Code and Codex with clear demonstration of professional supervised generation (not vibe coding)
- Experience automating data pipelines for exploratory data analysis (EDA) of sensitive and large data sets
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM - including report building, dashboard creation, and data management; Salesforce certification a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, financial modeling) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
- Excellent written and oral communication skills - able to present findings clearly to senior stakeholders
- High degree of motivation, attention to detail, and professional urgency
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities independently
- General interest in financial markets, with familiarity in equity markets and the institutional equities space

The compensation for this role is market competitive with a base salary range of $80,000-$120,000. We intend to offer the selected candidate a base salary within this range, based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill set, job-related experience, and location.
