MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT 

As a Data Analyst supporting CIS, you will play a key role in transforming complex operational, lifecycle, and technical data into actionable insights that strengthen enterprise planning, increase efficiency, and improve decision making across globally distributed environments. You will analyze data trends, validate system information, enhance reporting processes, and help advance automation and data quality efforts that support mission critical IT services. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collect, integrate, clean, and model data from multiple systems to support accurate analysis and reporting
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, lifecycle status, technical debt, and system performance across service areas 
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations that clearly convey insights to technical and nontechnical audiences 
  • Recommend improvements to data processes, data quality, and workflow automation 
  • Track and report asset lifecycle data, project standings, schedules, and metrics supporting operational and tech refresh activities 
  • Prepare accurate datasets and analytical summaries to support forecasting, planning, and leadership decision making 
  • Respond to data requests and RFIs across engineering, operations, and tech refresh teams 
  • Produce high quality analysis artifacts and contribute to enterprise reporting and visualization products 
  • Analyze patching, compliance, and vulnerability data to identify noncompliant assets, track remediation progress, and support reporting requirements 
  • Produce weekly or monthly dashboards and metrics showing patch status, compliance trends, and security posture across systems and environments 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED 

  • CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI clearance a favorable Polygraph  
  • EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 
    Data Analyst Senior - Requires a Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field or 10+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree. 
    Data Analyst Principal - Requires a Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field or 12+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree.
  • CERTIFICATION: Ability to meet DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements 
  • Familiarity with Service Central 
  • Hands-on experience performing data analysis, data integration, data cleaning, and dashboard/report development 
  • Strong skills in identifying trends, variances, technical risks, and lifecycle impacts across distributed datasets 
  • Experience supporting automation recommendations, process improvements, and data accuracy initiatives 
  • Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools; ability to present insights clearly to executives and technical teams 
  • Strong documentation, communication, problem-solving, and cross team coordination skills 
  • US citizenship required

The likely salary range for this position is $96,569 - $130,651. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
