Overview

GovCIO is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Data Analyst will be responsible for the data monitoring and report management during VistA Pre and Post Cutover activities. The activities to move from VistA to the new Federal EHR environment is a well-organized and analytical process which requires monitoring of the data movements and reporting on any legacy software usage data elements. This position is a fully remote within the United States with core hours of operation from Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM ET.

Responsibilities
  • Manage data cutover preparations and monitoring cutover activities.
  • Gather and produce cutover status reports during pre and post cutover activities
  • Leverage excellent writing skills to translate complicated issues to create a concise, and well-written narrative
  • Develop and maintain summary data dashboards, workflow automation tools for executive and technical audiences
  • Develop or provide feedback on clear and concise data communications products and materials for internal or external audiences
  • Conduct research, analyze information needs, and perform analysis to support the delivery of report artifacts
  • Track, forecast, and report on project progress including metrics and challenges
  • Formulate responses for weekly executive report
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Research and 5 years related work experience required.
  • 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience supporting VA OIT, VA Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) initiatives, Oracle Health (Cerner) implementation or sustainment efforts.
  • Experience participating in geographically dispersed teams in a remote environment.
  • Experience supporting large-scale healthcare modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with Share Point and Power Apps administration for supporting data dashboards and team communications across the enterprise.

Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance
