Salary Range: $90,233 - $120,311Relocation: NoSummaryThe Project Management Design Services (PMDS) Data Analyst is responsible for creating dashboards, completing industry analysis, and providing ad hoc reporting related to PMDS initiatives and the analysis of various data sets pertaining to project management. You will participate in analytics projects that require strong knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques, business processes, source system data, Structured Query Language (SQL) queries, and Business Intelligence (BI) applications.
This role will report on-site 3 plus days a week based out of our Downtown Fort Worth office.
Key Roles & Responsibilities - Functions as a member of the PMDS team to deliver data visualizations in the form of dashboards and reports.
- Presents information in ways that are universally understandable or easy to interpret and identifies patterns, trends, and correlations.
- Works with large data sets to turn data into actionable information.
- Works with data owners to develop meaningful visualizations for a variety of applications.
- Proactively plans, analyzes, and monitors various data to achieve corporate goals and drive improvements.
- Adapts data storytelling and reporting outputs to suit different audiences, ensuring clarity, usability, and relevance across all customer types.
- Collects, cleans, validates, and maintains spatial data.
- Designs spatial databases and schemas.
- Optimizes performance for queries involving large datasets.
- Develops maps, dashboards, and interactive visual tools.
- Effectively communicates with external and internal personnel to identify customer needs.
- Assists with project tracking and achieving performance metrics.
- Interacts effectively in a collaborative environment with other internal work groups.
- Proactively monitors data to identify inefficiencies and helps resolve them.
- Responds to and provides accurate updates for internal and external requests.

Skills- High-level understanding of data visualization techniques, with the ability to creatively design solutions and translate data into visually appealing and easily understandable insights for stakeholders.
- Experience with off-the-shelf reporting tools such as Cognos, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro or QGIS.
- Strong knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Maximo, SQL, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), DIS / WMIS, Partner, and Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) preferred.
- Ability to identify and implement technical solutions to visually represent data and deliver analytic solutions independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work with Information Technology (IT) partners to streamline and consolidate reports by leveraging EDW.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, establish trust, and collaborate across the enterprise.
- Ability to express ideas and concepts effectively in individual and group settings.
- Effective creation and delivery of presentations and informative reports, including the development of web-based reports.
- Ability to foster relationships across the PMDS organization to identify and address data visualization needs.
- Proven ability to learn new methods, techniques, and software as needed to accomplish tasks.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Promotes and actively participates in safe work practices.
Education & Experience - Highschool Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Decision Science, or another related discipline is encouraged to apply.
- 5 or more years of related experience is required.

- Successfully assists with forecasting and planning of Serve New projects.
- Proactively identifies issues relating to assigned projects and successfully resolves them.
- Provides accurate and informative reports.
