Position OverviewThe
Data Analyst supports the development of dashboards, reports, data visualizations, and analytical products that enable data-driven decision-making across Coast Guard missions.
Responsibilities- Develop dashboards using Power BI, Qlik, and related tools.
- Create visualizations to communicate analytical findings.
- Perform descriptive and diagnostic analytics.
- Conduct research and data analysis.
- Support reporting, performance management, and business intelligence activities.
- Translate data into actionable insights.
Required Skills and Experience- Associate degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4 years of relevant experience, or 3 years with a Bachelor's degree.
- CAP Essentials certification preferred.
- Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Clearance RequirementsApplicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements. Ability to obtain Public Trust prior to hire and maintain during employment is required.
Work Location: Hybrid - USCG HQ (DHS St. Elizabeth's Campus in D.C.)

CompensationThe salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
