Full Job Description
The below job summary and responsibilities reflect the duties of the Data Analyst, Data Analyst Senior will differ as more skills and/or experience will be required. The successful candidate will be placed at a level that is commensurate with the candidate's skills and experience.

Position Summary

Gathers, creates, standardizes, reports, analyzes, and interprets workforce, financial, and/or operational data. Prepares insightful data driven presentations that can be delivered to executive level leaders and used in decision making and planning. Supports projects that span from department process efficiencies to enterprise wide, cross business area projects; including identifying metrics, managing outcomes and aligning with key initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Compiles metrics using advanced tools from multiple systems across Human Resources, Finance, and Operations. Creates models to analyze and/or project data outcomes and evaluate alternate futures. Measures data outcomes using benchmarking, trend analysis, and/or operational insights.
  • Responsible for modeling complex business problems and discovering insights using statistical, data mining, and visualization techniques. Communicates results clearly and concisely to provide insight to multiple audiences; provides strategic direction to management.
  • Develop visualizations using data and data analytics that are precise and easy to interpret. Present results and consult with HR, business leaders, and/or external key stakeholders to share insights and proposed actions.
  • Standardize and document processes, and implement changes to improve processes, organization and technology solutions. Provide design, testing, operational and analytical support for the data warehouse and other HR systems. Continuously learn, adapt to, or implement new analytics tools or technologies.
  • Participate in project management teams across the enterprise, providing metrics, analytics, and recommendations.


Minimum Requirements - Data Analyst ($64,100 - $90,966)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance/Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, or an HR related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • Two years of data and analytics or related experience.
  • Experience with multiple systems and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to summarize and present complex data in an organized, concise manner as well as problem solving, collaboration, and partnership capabilities.
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills.


Minimum Requirements - Data Analyst Senior ($84,900 - $120,566)
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, Statistics, Analytics or related IT degree or sufficient experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytics environment.
  • Expertise in SQL Comfortable working with large, complex data sets - drawing conclusions and proposing recommendations.
  • Proven ability to effectively partner, collaborate, and communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues in various business functions at all levels.
  • Hands-on experience constructing visual analytics.
  • Working knowledge of an analytics data warehouse and big data platform.
  • Familiarity with fundamentals of statistics, probability and data pipelines
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to wrangle data Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data


Preferred Requirements
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills required. SQL or other relational database experience.
  • Experience with emission reduction - AMLD


Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $64,100.00 to $120,566.00 per year
