About The Role

OpenLoop is looking for a Data Analyst II (SQL Developer) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging data to improve patient care, optimizing our platform, and driving key business decisions. You will analyze health-related data, to help teams identify trends in telemedicine usage, and working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize telehealth services and improve patient outcomes.

Important - Please Read:
  • If your experience is primarily with pre-packaged data or systems, this likely isn't the right fit. You should be able to interpret, organize, and integrate data from multiple sources, and demonstrate how you use SQL to clean and structure it in a clear, efficient way.
  • This role requires hands-on, day-to-day use of SQL in an advanced developer capacity. Although a Staff level Analyst may have leadership skill and experience, ALL of our analysts are still using SQL daily and often.
  • As part of the interview process, a skill assessment will be conducted to evaluate your SQL proficiency and analytical reasoning.

What You'll Do:
  • Gather and clean data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Utilize statistical techniques and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, R, Python is a plus) to analyze datasets and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Create detailed reports and visualizations (e.g., dashboards, graphs, charts) to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Proactively surface trends, gaps, and problems through your own analysis - not just execute assigned requests - and flag what's worth pursuing to the team.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations and customer success management, to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data collection and analysis processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
