This is a hybbrid role in Toronto

The Data Analyst, CA Data Governance & Incident Management will assist with triage, analysis and management of the data quality incidents reported to the Data Management Office (DMO). They will develop and implement strategies to ensure quality and integrity of Data, resolve data defects and establish and maintain Data governance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed data analysis and triage data issues reported to DMO.
  • Identify, prioritize and troubleshoot data related issues within the NA P&BB business.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and key stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Provide clear and concise communication regarding the statuses of data issues, analysis and findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Develop and implement Data Quality rules working with business teams.
  • Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs and provide insights into trends and anomalies.
  • Analyze end to end data lineage.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality at the source.
  • Document and maintains procedures to comply with directives.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 3+ years of related data analysis experience, preferably in the financial services domain.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Knowledge of Metadata Management and Lineage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data issues effectively.
  • Experience in using IDQ tool for source data profiling, creating, and applying rules to identify data anomalies.
  • Related work experience in areas of data management, Incident Management, data governance, data warehousing and analysis.
  • Experience working with Incident/Service management tools like ServiceNow and Jira.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle, and agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated strong organization, time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.


Salary:

$61,600.00 - $113,900.00

Pay Type:

Salaried
