Blu Omega is looking for a
Data Access Specialist to support a federal intelligence mission focused on countering national security threats through secure access to classified networks and systems. In this role, you'll serve as the critical interface between users and secure environments - ensuring systems access is established, maintained, and protected. Your work will directly support users operating across classified networks by managing authentication credentials, troubleshooting access issues, and enforcing cybersecurity protocols.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in cybersecurity and a proactive approach to user support.
Responsibilities: - Guide users through the process of obtaining PKI credentials for CLAN access on classified networks.
- Support customers in acquiring B-LAN (Secret Token) credentials for access to Secret-level systems.
- Troubleshoot user access issues, including account lockouts and password resets, across classified environments.
- Enforce and apply information assurance policies in line with user permissions, regulatory standards, and security protocols.
- Monitor and report on access-related incidents and metrics to both the security and customer teams.
- Produce weekly and monthly access reports to track progress, usage, and compliance metrics.
- Provide direct guidance and support to end users navigating secure systems and protocols.
Qualifications: - Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including identity management and secure access controls.
- Experience working in secure or classified IT environments with user authentication technologies (e.g., PKI, tokens).
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across Windows and secure enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity policies and compliance standards in government or intelligence settings.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with a focus on supporting end users in high-stakes environments.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Nice to Haves: - Technical Aptitude: Comfortable with system access, authentication tools, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Problem-Solving: Able to quickly identify and resolve user access issues.
- Security Knowledge: Awareness of multi-platform cybersecurity practices and classified network environments.
- Communication: Clear, confident communicator when guiding users or reporting technical findings.
- Prior work within the Intelligence Community (IC) or supporting secure government networks.
- Experience with CLAN, B-LAN, or similar secure infrastructure.
- Familiarity with NIST security guidelines or DoD cyber compliance standards.
Salary Range: $95K - $115K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
