Job Purpose and ImpactThe Dairy Young Animal Nutrition Tech & Sales Specialist will deploy technologies by supporting interactions with clients and prospective customers and help them understand how the organization can provide solutions for them and improve profitability. In this role, you will ensure that new technologies and tools are utilized to provide competitive customer focused solutions.
Key Accountabilities- Establish and cultivate effective relationships with customers to maintain existing business and gain new ones.
- Provide technical service pertaining to calf and heifer nutrition
- Support strategic initiatives pertaining to young animal nutrition market growth and value added services
- Support strategic marketing technology and food or product safety quality and regulatory to develop and proof new products.
- Stay up to date with latest young animal nutrition technologies and market trends
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
QualificationsQualificationsMinimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Possess a valid driver's license in good standing
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with special feed optimization programs and database support.
- Experience with customer support
- Experience in nutritional concept development
- Master's degree or PhD in a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal.
Position Information- This position is located in Denver, CO.
- Up to 25% travel is required to cover the area of responsibility.
- The expected salary for this position is $75,000- $95,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
