Full Job Description
The D&I Lead Solutions Architect is responsible for assisting in design, deployment and delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable digital solutions and services to our customers to ensure workflow integrity and business continuity. The D&I Lead Solutions Architect understands the customer vision and technical technologies landscape for the E&P and New Energy Platforms, he/she needs to assess the customer requirements and collaborate on new/enhanced solution architectures, integrating slb/partner vendor technologies, data connectivity and security challenges. The D&I Solutions Architect acts as multi-party technical liaison between the Customers, Product Teams, Basin/GU Organization and Cloud Services Providers. The D&I Solutions Architect consults with Operations Groups in Basin/GU Organization as needed to support the area of expertise and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of product and service delivery and formally communicates findings to the Product Teams. He/She actively participates in promoting new technology and services offerings and supports the business in risk management and applying lessons learned to improve job design and execution as related to the area of expertise.
• Expertise in domain platforms (E&P, New Energies) and Solutions Focus.
• Engage with Customers, Vendors, Partners Domains (Cloud Services Providers) and IT Organization.
• Ability to communicate Architecture in context of Multi-Domains to different audience (technical and high-level).
• Identify and Leverage architecture extensibility and integration points.
• Channel new needs to Product Teams and Engineering Organization.
• Dedicated & Located close to the project/customer.
• Provide advisory support in the area of expertise throughout the Sales and Product and Service Delivery process.
• Explore opportunities for value-added products and services.
• Assist in real-time incident response, recovery, and investigation as related to the area of expertise.
• Remain current on new technologies.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field, or a foreign equivalent plus 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineering related job titles. Applicants must have 3 years of experience in the following: Cloud architecture: Azure (primary), AWS, GCP; Cloud-based application development technologies: Python or C++, TensorFlow, Web Services; working in the Exploration and Production / Oil & Gas Industry; Cloud-based HPC (High Performance Computing) infrastructure and technology including working with data storage, networking solutions, specialized compute resources, security, and artificial intelligence applications; simulation and machine learning workflows: Management, Monitoring, data and results transfer, machine learning engines; OSDU Energy Data Platform; and Data management, storage, and delivery.
