*Active TS/SCI clearance needed for consideration, as well as willingness to sit for a CI Polygraph* Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Cyberspace Exercise Planner to support Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Combatant Commands (COCOMs) based in Fort Meade, MD . This position is a full-time role that will be fully onsite . As a Cyberspace Exercise Planner, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing cyber training and exercise activities that enhance mission readiness, operational effectiveness, and joint force preparedness within a high-stakes national security environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive cyber exercise planning support throughout the Joint Event Lifecycle (JELC), ensuring training objectives align with internal and external exercise requirements. Coordinate and host planning meetings with stakeholders to integrate training requirements, objectives, and assessment criteria. Draft exercise-related orders and directives, including initiating directives, execution orders, and exercise planning documentation. Maintain and manage the exercise SharePoint planning portal to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of planning information. Represent the command at JELC planning events, identifying capability gaps, gathering requirements, and integrating command objectives. Develop detailed cyber scenarios that effectively support command training and exercise objectives. Identify, develop, and manage training objectives within the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS). Coordinate with team members to develop measures of effectiveness (MOEs) and measures of performance (MOPs) for training objectives and operational scenarios. Support development and maintenance of the Joint Training Plan (JTP) and Joint Exercise Plan (JEP), ensuring alignment with command readiness requirements. Plan, organize, coordinate, and participate in Tabletop Exercises (TTXs), Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) drills, and related readiness activities. Support daily operations and readiness initiatives across the command environment. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support mission planning, readiness assessments, and joint training objectives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8-12 years of applicable experience; additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree. Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. Comprehensive understanding of the Joint Training System as outlined in CJCSI 3500.01 and CJCSM 3500.03. Experience utilizing JTIMS, JLLIS, and Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) to support Joint Readiness processes. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and logical reasoning skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information across command and staff organizations. Experience supporting military exercises, operational planning, readiness reporting, or joint training environments. Preferred Qualifications: ITIL v3 Foundation Certification Experience supporting DoD, Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, or DISA exercise programs. Familiarity with cyber operations planning and readiness assessment methodologies.
