Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Update hardware and software inventory and change logs
  • Engage with Secure The Enterprise (STE) and Secure The Network (STN)
  • Utilize relevant security tools like LatteArt and Gatekeeper
  • Review notifications from XACTA
  • Maintain SEAR audit log records
  • Address Plan of Actions & Milestones (POAM) related to IAVAs
  • Coordinate with system owners and administrators on security matters
  • Conduct Security System Plans (SSP) tasks
  • Review security scans and collaborate to remediate findings
  • Manage computer incident security reports
  • Initiate system authorization and re-authorization processes

Full Job Description

Basic Requirements:
  • Security+ Cert
  • 12 years of experience in the Information Technology field
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
    • 8 additional years of experience in the Information Technology field may be substituted for a degree

Job Description:
  • Hardware & software inventory updates & change log updates
  • Work various Secure The Enterprise (STE) & Secure The Network (STN)
  • Experience with LatteArt & Gatekeeper
  • Review XACTA notices
  • Complete SEAR audit log records
  • Review & address POAM for IAVAs
  • Coordinate with system owners & system administrators
  • Perform various SSP efforts
  • Review scans & work with system owners & system administrators to address and remediate issues
  • Address computer incident security reports
  • Begin authorization for new systems and re-authorization for legacy systems, etc.

Required Experience:
  • knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation
  • communication protocols
  • encryption techniques/tools.

Salary: $190,000 - $200,000 annually
