POSITION OVERVIEWReporting to the Program Manager, the Cyber Security Engineer Designs/implements/maintains enterprise security controls enforcing Zero Trust (identity-centric access, least privilege, continuous monitoring, threat detection) across cloud, network, and endpoint. Supports IR-finding remediation; aligns to NIST 800-53 & 800-207. Manages IAM/RBAC/PAM/MFA; centralized logging into SIEM; vulnerability scanning/remediation & patch coordination; SIEM/EDR/XDR threat detection, triage, containment, forensics; cloud security (AWS, Azure); segmentation; hardening; change management; SOPs; RCA; 24/7 monitoring; cross-team collaboration on escalated tickets.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Ability to obtain Federal Security Clearance
- NIST 800-53 (AC, CM, SC, AU, IR, SI) and 800-207 implementation; IAM/RBAC/PAM/MFA
- SIEM + EDR/XDR operations; vulnerability mgmt
- AWS & Azure security
- RMF practices; incident response & forensics.

Compensation: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
