Overview
The Cybersecurity Analyst assists with the deployment, management, and maintenance of security systems, and their corresponding or associated software across the organization's various information systems.
Starting Wage Range: $99,267 - $101,50/annually DOE.
Location: This is an in-person position located in Fairbanks, Alaska.
What you will do- Perform security assessments on all Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems.
- Provide baseline and security reports to IT and OT stakeholders, as needed.
- Perform and report the results of system audits, in alignment with prescribed security standards.
- Create, review, and edit system security procedures and documentation.
- Assist with IT and OT information security design and integration.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure adherence to system security requirements.
- Plan, develop, and execute automated and manual tests to validate security postures and controls.
- Review, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity alerts within the environment.
- Proactively monitor the environment to detect and implement cyber-attack mitigation before a breach occurs.
- Review real-time and historical reports for cybersecurity and/or compliance violations.
- Deliver cybersecurity awareness training to staff on effective practices for safeguarding information.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer support and ensure a consistent high-quality experience for all stakeholders.
- Learn, adopt, and apply safety programs.
Conditions of EmploymentMust pass a pre-employment drug test, random drug test thereafter in accordance with the published policy of Doyon Utilities. Must have a valid driver's license issued by the State of Alaska. Must be eligible to work on a military installation in Alaska. Eligibility to work on a military installation includes compliance with Department of Defense mandates with respect to employee background and health directives.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Required
- 3 years working with Information Technology and/or Operational Technology systems. Required

- Demonstrated advanced understanding of Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networks. (required proficiency)
- Demonstrated advanced understanding of Department of Defense cybersecurity standards. (required proficiency)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Cloud products, e.g. Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Entra. (required proficiency)
- Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and standards. (required proficiency)

- CompTIA Security+ Certification CompTIA Security+ Certification within 180 Days Required or
