Full Job Description
Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) is seeking a Cybersecurity Acquisition Technical Analyst to support our Navy customer.

This role supports cybersecurity acquisition activities for Hull, Mechanical, and Engineering (HM&E) systems on Navy ship platforms. The analyst will work within the government's acquisition management environment, supporting cybersecurity documentation, system security coordination, and IT integration activities across NAVSEA systems and infrastructure.

This position requires a general understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the ability to interface with government cybersecurity, IT, and acquisition stakeholders. The role does not implement cyber changes or direct combat system cybersecurity policy.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support cybersecurity acquisition activities for HM&E systems across Navy ship platforms.
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining cybersecurity-related acquisition artifacts, technical documentation, and system security inputs.
  • Coordinate with government cybersecurity personnel to ensure system security considerations are incorporated into acquisition planning and technical reviews.
  • Support Government Equipment Management Information System (GEMIS), iNAVSEA SharePoint, and related Acquisition Management Information System (AMIS) tools.
  • Provide Windows 10 and NMCI-related technical support within the acquisition environment.
  • Interface with NAVSEA Chief Information Office (SEA-00I) and Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) to troubleshoot and resolve IT and information security issues.
  • Communicate daily with government acquisition management teams, providing clear status updates and technical insights.
  • Participate in technical discussions, working groups, and coordination meetings related to cybersecurity, HM&E systems, and acquisition integration.
  • Manage customer expectations through proactive communication, disciplined task execution, and timely issue resolution.
  • Prepare and deliver status briefs, technical notes, and cybersecurity-related acquisition inputs.
  • Maintain accurate records of cybersecurity issues, risks, and system security considerations for government review.
  • Support traceability of cybersecurity requirements across acquisition documentation and system lifecycle artifacts.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other technical/science discipline or 4 years of directly relevant experience.
  • 2-8 years of relevant experience in Navy Cyber System Security.
  • Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance is required for this position
  • Experience communicating with government stakeholders.
  • General understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Ability to work within Navy/DoD IT environments (NMCI, iNAVSEA, AMIS).
  • Experience supporting NAVSEA, PEO SHIPS, or other Navy acquisition organizations.
  • Familiarity with HM&E systems, shipboard cybersecurity considerations, or Navy system security documentation.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity practices and Navy system security concepts.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into acquisition-relevant documentation.
  • Ability to operate within structured government processes and meet deadlines with precision.
