This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the cybersecurity team's response to proactive, emerging, and observed threats, with explicit focus on AI-enabled attack techniques and AI-related enterprise risks, alongside traditional cyber threats. This role serves as a central coordinator across detection, threat intelligence, incident response, and technology teams to ensure the organization is prepared for, and can rapidly respond to, AI-driven threat activity.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and maintain proactive threat scenarios and response playbooks with emphasis on AI-enabled and emerging attack techniques.
- Coordinate cross-functional response to observed and suspected threats, ensuring timely triage, escalation, and containment.
- Partner with SOC, detection engineering, and threat intelligence to identify coverage gaps and improve detection for AI-assisted attacks and automation misuse.
- Serve as the central coordinator and subject matter expert for AI-related threats across cybersecurity, technology, risk, and business teams.
- Produce executive- and regulator-ready reporting, metrics, and documentation demonstrating preparedness and response effectiveness.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with demonstrated leadership in threat management, incident response, or security operations.
- Strong understanding of modern adversary TTPs, including AI-enabled threats, automation abuse, and emerging attack techniques.
- Proven ability to coordinate complex security responses and communicate clearly with technical teams, executives, and regulators.

Salary Range:
$99,600 - 169,200 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
