Your Job

As the Cyber Security Supervisor, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for vulnerability management, security operations, cyber security consulting, and assurance monitoring across Georgia-Pacific. You will lead a team of cyber security professionals and partners with business, IT, OT, and shared-service stakeholders to implement and sustain standards, processes, and tools that manage cyber risk effectively and efficiently.

This role will establish capability roadmaps, translate business risk priorities into action, and ensure measurable risk reduction and value creation are identified, tracked, and communicated. You will also serve as a trusted advisor to cyber leadership and provide continuity for critical cyber security functions when needed.

Our Team

The Cyber Security team within Georgia-Pacific is focused on managing risk across IT and OT environments through integrated vulnerability management, security operations, cyber consulting, and assurance capabilities. Our goal is to provide valuable insights to business partners, enabling profitable, risk-based cyber security decisions. The team works collaboratively with internal stakeholders, Koch and shared-service partners, and third-party providers to identify risk, improve security capabilities, and drive sustainable remediation and operational outcomes.

What You Will Do
  • Lead and continuously improve vulnerability management, security operations, cyber security consulting, and assurance monitoring capabilities
  • Coach and develop team members while fostering mutual respect, direct feedback, accountability, and strong contribution
  • Develop and execute capability roadmaps across people, process, technology, and automation that align with business risk priorities and cyber strategy
  • Drive risk-based vulnerability management across IT and OT environments, from discovery and prioritization through remediation and measurable risk reduction
  • Build trusted relationships across business, IT, OT, Koch, shared-service, and external partners to influence decisions and advance cyber security outcomes
  • Provide clear technical and risk guidance, oversee cyber security assessments, and communicate priorities, progress, and outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or developing others, with or without formal people leadership responsibility
  • Experience in and skilled at translating cyber security or technical risk into clear business priorities and practical actions
  • Experience and proven ability to build trust, influence without authority, and align stakeholders around shared outcomes
  • Experience turning a strategy, roadmap, or improvement opportunity into action and measurable progress
  • Previous experience using data and sound judgment to prioritize work, evaluate effectiveness, and communicate value
  • Experience in cyber security concepts and experience navigating complex technology environments
  • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience setting direction for or maturing an enterprise cyber security, technology, risk, or operational capability in a complex environment
  • Experience applying risk-based thinking to vulnerability management, security operations, cyber consulting, assurance monitoring, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience and technical depth in one or more areas such as IT/OT security, cloud, application, infrastructure, network, security analytics, or automation
  • Proven experience and track record of navigating ambiguity, challenging existing approaches, and implementing practical improvements to security or operational outcomes
  • Experience communicating complex issues clearly and credibly to technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leaders
  • Relevant education, industry certification, or sustained professional development in cyber security, technology, risk, leadership, or a related field
