Your Job

The Koch Capabilities Team is seeking a HR Business Partner to join our team in Wichita, KS. This individual will be responsible for partnering with leaders and supervisors to understand how the business(es) create value and proactively identify and execute opportunities for HR to support that value creation. This role will partner with corporate teams including EHS (and related teams), Aviation, and Communications & Marketing.

What You Will Do

  • Utilize Principle Based Management® concepts in partnership with leaders and supervisors to advise leaders on organizational health, supervisor effectiveness, talent planning, and employee development.
  • Influence leaders on business decisions by applying Principle Based Management.
  • Partner with the business and other HR capabilities on strategies for recruiting, retention, succession planning.
  • Identify capability gaps and strategies to close those, while also identifying strong performing, contribution motivated employees, and advancing them.
  • Build credibility and trust with the employees and leaders to support employee relations needs including employee coaching, performance management, and employee separations
  • Drive innovation and transformation in HR functions and processes


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience as a supervisor or experience working within Human Resources
  • Ability to offer calm, practical guidance to business partners through critical thinking, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented approach
  • High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong executive presence
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Knowledge and experience in applying Principle Based Management
  • Experience as a supervisor
  • Experience working within Human Resources
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related Business Degree
