Job Summary:

This Cyber Security AI Leader is responsible for overseeing the growth and development of the practice, with a primary focus on ensuring high-quality service delivery, driving business development and revenue growth, fostering effective people management, and positioning the practice as the industry leader in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in cybersecurity and AI technologies with strong business acumen to expand our client base, deliver cutting-edge AI-enhanced solutions, secure AI systems, and build a high-performing team in a rapidly evolving threat landscape dominated by AI-driven risks and opportunities.

Job Duties:

Service Delivery
  • Leads the end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity consulting services, including AI-powered strategy and advisory, risk assessments, compliance management, threat detection using machine learning, incident response, and technical implementations (e.g., identity and access management, secure AI design, vulnerability remediation, and defending against AI-adversarial attacks).
  • Oversees project teams to ensure engagements are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction, with a strong emphasis on AI integration for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Acts as the primary engagement lead on key client projects, providing thought leadership in AI-enabled cybersecurity and ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
  • Develops and refines service offerings, methodologies, and intellectual property, particularly in AI-driven cybersecurity tools, secure AI deployment, and governance frameworks to maintain a competitive edge.

Business Development
  • Drives revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, with a focus on AI-infused cybersecurity services, including lead generation, proposal development, and closing deals.
  • Builds and maintains strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on AI-related cyber risks and opportunities, and expanding accounts through upselling AI-enhanced services.
  • Collaborates on commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and sales targets to achieve practice growth objectives, positioning the firm as the go-to leader in cybersecurity AI. Coordinates with priority account programs and other internal firm sales and go to market activities.
  • Represents the firm at industry events, conferences, and marketing initiatives to enhance visibility and establish thought leadership in AI cybersecurity.

AI Leadership
  • Establishes and drives the practice strategy as the cybersecurity AI leader, including developing AI security governance, risk frameworks, and innovative solutions that leverage AI for defense while securing AI systems against threats. Coordinate with other internal AI practices and initiatives to drive cross sell and collaboration.
  • Monitors and anticipates trends in AI-driven cyber threats, regulatory changes (e.g., AI-specific compliance), and opportunities to integrate AI responsibly into client solutions.
  • Leads the firm's thought leadership initiatives in AI cybersecurity, including publications, speaking engagements, and partnerships.

Additional Duties
  • Contributes to the overall firm's strategic planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management for the practice, with a focus on AI investments and ROI.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and emerging AI regulations) across all deliverables.
  • Ability to travel, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a talented team of cybersecurity and AI professionals, including specialists in AI controls and guardrails, and ethical AI experts.
  • Manage resource allocation, utilization, and performance reviews to optimize team efficiency, with emphasis on building capabilities in AI-cybersecurity integration.
  • Ensures Cyber team is trained on all relevant software, practice tools and processes

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Cybersecurity / Information Security, Technology, preferred

Experience:
  • Twelve (12) or more years of experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or other relevant security environments, required
  • Five (5) or more years in a senior leadership role within a consulting firm or professional services environment required
  • Experience in AI/ML cybersecurity best practices while demonstrating expertise in AI/ML applications, required
  • Strong technical knowledge in areas such as risk management, identity and access management, threat intelligence, compliance, security operations, AI/ML security, adversarial AI, and secure AI deployment, required
  • Proven track record in business development, including client relationship management in cybersecurity and AI-related services., preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading service delivery teams and managing complex client engagements involving AI technologies, preferred
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a history of building and scaling high-performing teams in dynamic tech environments, preferred
  • Experience in a consulting or practice-based model, with a focus on revenue growth, profitability, and leading AI innovation in cybersecurity, preferred

  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging C-level executives on AI and cybersecurity topics.

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
