Cyber Event Planner II

DirectViz Solutions (DVS) is seeking a highly skilled and mission-focused Cyber Event Planner II to support advanced cyber planning and operational initiatives in a dynamic Department of Defense environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting cyber exercises, strategic cyber operations planning, and test event coordination within secure government environments. This role requires strong analytical, coordination, and cybersecurity planning expertise, along with the ability to collaborate across internal and external mission partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of cyber event activities and cyber testing initiatives.
  • Conduct long-range strategic planning efforts in collaboration with government stakeholders, mission partners, and technical teams.
  • Develop and evaluate cyber operational strategies, courses of action, and planning recommendations.
  • Apply analytical methodologies to support cyber planning efforts and mission objectives.
  • Design and coordinate cyber test events conducted within cyber testing and training ranges.
  • Develop and maintain Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs) in accordance with government security requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external cyber teams to ensure operational readiness and successful event execution.
  • Support cybersecurity planning activities related to operational testing, assessments, exercises, and mission support.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, briefings, and planning materials for leadership and government customers.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards, policies, and security procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Cyber Event Planning.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting long-range strategic planning efforts related to cyber operations and activities.
  • Experience applying analytical methods to support planning efforts and recommend operational strategies.
  • Experience developing Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs).
  • Experience designing and supporting cyber test events conducted on cyber testing ranges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Certifications & Clearance Requirements
  • Minimum certification as 332 (or equivalent as required by the applicable Technical Instruction) at the Intermediate level in accordance with DoDD 8140.01 or successor policy.
  • All personnel performing as Privileged Users must maintain a final adjudicated Tier 5 security investigation with an IT Level I designation in JPAS and/or DISS.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI clearance with SI/TK/G/HCS-P accesses.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting DoD cyber exercises or operational test environments.
  • Familiarity with cyber range operations and cybersecurity testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF processes, and operational planning methodologies.
  • Experience supporting classified cyber mission environments.
