SummaryCyber Analyst (1TS+) in support of the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC). The JNWC is chartered to enable positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) and NAVWAR superiority to the Department of Defense, Combatant Commanders, Joint Force Commanders, the Coalition and the Interagency. You will be a part of our team's efforts to empower the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission ensuring positioning, navigation and timing superiority. Our mission is to provide combatant commanders and joint force commanders with subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR by providing knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR Order of Battle and PNT-related successes and threats.
Responsibilities - Reviews policies and authorities
- Supports the Government with the integration, at the theater strategic level, of C4, cyber, and cyberspace operations into JNWC's strategic and operational objectives
- Facilitates information sharing, internally and externally, and integrates information sharing into C4, cyber, and cyberspace operations
- Coordinates at analyst/Action Officer level with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Cyber Command (CYBERCOM), Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber (JFHQ-C), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), JFHQ-DoD Information Network (JFHQ-DoDIN), and other CYBERCOM components as needed
Qualifications - BA/BS in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, Information Technology, or a related field; prefer relevant certifications such as CompTIA's Network+, CompTIA's Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner or industry equivalent
- Current DoD issued TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications - 5 Yrs Relevant Exp
- Prefer prior experience with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Cyber Command (CYBERCOM), Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber (JFHQ-C), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), JFHQ-DoD Information Network (JFHQ-DoDIN), or other CYBERCOM components
- Ability to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment
