Full Job Description
Senior Systems Engineer supporting a US Army program, the Stryker NBCRV Sensor Suite Upgrade (SSU) and Chemical, Radiological, and Medical Materiel Program (CRMMP) efforts at Aberdeen Proving Ground - South (Edgewood,MD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide systems engineering support for the Stryker NBCRV Sensor Suite Upgrade (SSU) and Chemical, Radiological, and Medical Materiel Program (CRMMP) efforts.
  • Evaluate the operation, performance, and interoperability of existing sensors, subsystems, and infrastructure within the NBCRV.
  • Assess the technical and operational impacts of proposed system modifications, upgrades, and new capabilities.
  • Support the development of system-of-systems architectures, design interfaces, and integration solutions for upgraded vehicle systems.
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and practices to support system design, analysis, and requirements development.
  • Develop and maintain DoDAF architecture and modeling products using the MagicDraw modeling tool.
  • Generate and maintain engineering and architecture products used to support program design documentation and technical reviews.
  • Review engineering design documents and technical documentation to identify impacts to NBCRV SSU and CRMMP requirements, interfaces, architecture, and integration.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, program stakeholders, and government customers to resolve system-level technical issues and ensure successful integration of new capabilities.
  • Support system design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and engineering assessments as required.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of systems engineering experience, preferably supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
  • Experience developing and interpreting DoDAF architecture products.
  • Experience with MagicDraw or comparable systems modeling/architecture tools.
  • Experience performing system interoperability, integration, and interface assessments.
  • Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to review complex engineering documentation and assess system-level impacts.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting U.S. Army ground vehicle or Stryker programs.
  • Experience with Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) reconnaissance systems and sensors.
  • Experience with sensor suite integration and system-of-systems engineering.
  • Experience developing system architectures and interface control documentation.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition, systems engineering, and technical review processes.
  • Experience supporting requirements analysis, system design updates, and integration testing.
