Full Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Customer Solutions Engineering-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Customer Solutions Engineering-related occupation.
  • Position requires 1 year of experience in the following: Designing end-to-end security frameworks, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPC Service Controls, and hierarchical firewall policies; Developing reusable technical assets and production-quality code; Implementing advanced data security techniques; Tuning security policies for optimal performance and troubleshooting complex network or identity-related technical issues; and Integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.


About the job

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,250 - $183,000 15% bonus target equity benefits determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google .

Position reports to the Google Austin, TX office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy.

Responsibilities
  • Advise customers on business objectives to design and architect comprehensive, end-to-end security solutions using the full Google Cloud stack. Demonstrate platform value by building security prototypes, tuning policies for peak performance, and resolving complex technical bottlenecks.
  • Scope requirements and write production-quality code that adheres to strict engineering standards and data compliance policies.
  • Create reusable technical assets, including scripts, templates, and reference architectures, to accelerate adoption for internal teams and customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Strategy teams, advocating for enterprise requirements to shape the future of Google Cloud. Lead account planning to identify new opportunities, manage stakeholder consensus, and deliver technical enablement for field partners and leadership.
  • Regional travel required more than 30% of the time to unanticipated worksites.
