Customer Solutions Architect (CSA) - E/E Architecture, you will serve as an enterprise-level, customer-facing technical leader responsible for shaping 3M's strategy in Electronics & Electrical (E/E) system architecture globally, particularly in the Transportation & Energy space.
You will translate industry megatrends, customer needs, and system-level insights into scalable architectures and a forward-looking portfolio strategy-helping position 3M as a
system-level solutions partner rather than a component supplier.
As a Customer Solutions Architect, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leads Ownership of 3M's E/E Technology & Solution Roadmap. Turn industry trends into 3M end-to-end E/E architecture solutions by shifting customer engagement toward system-level problem solving vs. product selection
- Implements modular, platform-based EE architecture 3M solutions that enable reuse across customers, regions, and product lines.
- Determines white spaces including Future E/E architecture concepts tied to Pre-RFQ and platform definition
- Supports business by driving R&D investment priorities including Technology incubation and seeding through M&A or partnership needs and opportunities (where gaps exist) to deliver first to market concepts and unlocking new revenue opportunities for 3M

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (completed and verified before start)
- Ten (10) years' experience in end-to-end solutions architecture with customer engagement experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree highly desired
- 15+ years of customer engagement experience to drive business opportunities
- Skills include deep EE architecture knowledge especially in automotive, customer presentation, business acumen, product portfolio understanding
Work location: - Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Livonia, MI.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $221,591 - $270,834, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
